Holy Cow!!! The new Freak Kitchen is out guys!!! You cannot even imagine how much I was awaiting "Organic", the new album of my favourite band. Maybe that some of you don't know them yet (I don't know why and how?), but that's a shame in that case because you're just missing one of the most original band of the Metal Scene. Oki Freak Kitchen doesn't play Death or Black metal, oki they hate cheesy "Dragon" Power Metal, yeah they just don't play something featured in the list of the trendy Metal bands but honestly I don't care because when it comes to music and especially lyrics I don't know a lot of "trendy" bands who are able to produce something of such good quality?

Some killer songs here, but a few tracks drag the album down. There's no doubt about it though: Mattias is one hell of an innovative guitarist

Can "being too catchy" be a problem?

I got Move and Organic the same day, so they fused in my mind as two sides of the same album, sorry, my fault; but that's why I am writing this post to both albums.

I like Move/Organic, but I think they could have been a masterpiece:
Maybe it is because of the song structure, always very simple, or maybe the lyrics are repeated too many times; the final effect is that some song seems to stale before it is over, and too often a song gets stuck in my mind after I finished the album...
Of course the guitarwork is super.

I would love, as experiment, to see Mattias involved in some other full time project and see how he would work with other people... I see particulary hilarious if he collaborated with Tenacious D! :-D
