Talking about strange band names lately, KLIMT 1918 seems like a name that doesn't make sense at first, but if you do a little research on the web, you'll find out that Mr. Gustav Klimt was an Austrian painter and founder of the school of painting known as the Vienna Sezession. Pretty nice album. It feels simple and straight-forward but it packages a lot of emotion and sincerity which goes a long way with this type of music. The double-bass sections add that extra ooomph that elevates this album quite a bit from being just another alternative/gothic/indie/shoegaze/rock/whatever mix.

I really didn't know this band, so I decided to pay attention to them and decided to start with their debut, incredible and I was pleasantly surprised, I loved their atmospheric gothic sound with hints of Shoegaze and also their similarity to Anathema, in this album all their songs I loved, I recommend it.
