After the very good album The Arrival, I was really wondering what Hypocrisy could offer us this time. I was actually a bit afraid that they would slowly run out of ideas, considering they've produced ten studio albums in just thirteen years. Blooddrenched remained my favourite dm song for a couple years after the release of this album. But the whole album doesn't get me as excited as it used to.

I think part of what made Blooddrenched awesome is that it was pretty extreme when compared to Hypocrisy's usual standards.
