After the very good album The Arrival, I was really wondering what Hypocrisy could offer us this time. I was actually a bit afraid that they would slowly run out of ideas, considering they've produced ten studio albums in just thirteen years. But no, not if you have a genius called Peter Tägtgren in your band. He never lets his fans down.

It sounds like pete's to worried about his fans, a bit to try hard for me, where's the diversity, still good but a bit plain, all the songs sound the same, has nothing on the arrival, or any other previous hypocrisy album. still worth buying, hypocrisy at there worst is still better than some bands best

Blooddrenched remained my favourite dm song for a couple years after the release of this album. But the whole album doesn't get me as excited as it used to.

Blooddrenched remained my favourite dm song for a couple years after the release of this album. But the whole album doesn't get me as excited as it used to.

This was one of the first albums that got me into the more extreme genres of metal, so I'll always have a soft spot for Hypocrisy. I think part of what made Blooddrenched awesome is that it was pretty extreme when compared to Hypocrisy's usual standards.
