Leaked, and I got it through a torrent

That's hardly news these days as everything 'leaks'. How's the album?

It's on Spotify, at least.

Really digging it. Picks up where the previous left off. I haven't noticed any individual tracks quite as epic and crushing as Köld, but it seems very consistent. A little on the long side, though. Ideally, an album shouldn't run longer than 45-50 minutes, IMO.

After first listen, the title track stands out.

A bit inconsistent, but there are some really great tracks here. The last one especially makes me look up every time I hear it

To be honest, i wasn't entirely sure that I liked this album when I first heard it, plus being the album that introduced me to the band, but it is definitely a grower. The structures of the longer songs make the sound very atmospheric, making you feel as if you were actually walking through the wilderness in Iceland. Its pretty damn powerful, and even if the album is a little too long, there is plenty of variety and moods to keep the listener occupied.

The discs seem to be round the wrong way on my copy of this. The 11 minute track is at the start of the Gola disc instead of the Andvari one.
