I'd like to see this album as better as it is, because how the band sounds and with these vocals (the Doro of speed metal IMO) there could be classic potential, but many of these songs are too average for that status. Sadly there aren't many real killer songs other than maybe "Max Overload" and "America" and the surprisingly prominent bonus tracks "The Day You Die" and "Exterminator". Fun album maybe for 1 or 2 listens, I do return to these few songs mentioned before, but generally speakin I'd say: DISAPPOINTING songs.

Very true.

Not disappointing I'd say but they killed in self-titled debut. One record that shows true talent of Acid and can be clearly seen how incredible that album is. They didn't able to create that spark "Acid" had or may be they try to "extended" self-titled and failed.

As said, their debut overshadowed "Maniac". Nothing else.
