Well said. It is OK, but I think it misses the dark and catchy elements from the previous two albums.

It has grown on me quite a bit, and the bonus tracks are really good

I agree with the comments above. This is indeed a good album, but lacks the polish of their last few albums. In fact, I think they've consistently released so many great albums since the early 90's this might be their "least good" in a long, long time even if Pylos isn't bad or even close to average.
