I'm not even gonna try to hide my bias. Methadone Skies are an instrumental stoner/psych/post band from my city. I'm fully aware of how over-saturated the world is of local bands like that, but Different Layers Of Fear may be worth your attention.

Manos is such an absolute beast of a song - the album as a whole is great but that one is spectacular

The repetitions work so well in this album. That along with some memorable tunes do not make this a half bad listen.

The song Manos is truly a thing of beauty; having just been blown away by Elder live, this is one of the few songs that can really channel that kind of magnetic force through such a convoluted jamlike song
