Personal information
Born on: 03.10.1988
Official website
Lead guitar & backing vocals
Date of birth:
3rd of October 1988.
Biggest inspirations:
Steve Vai, J.S. Bach, Yngwie J. Malmsteen.
Favorite bands:
Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Symphony X, Steve Vai, Dark Moor, Metallica, Heavenly, At Vance. I tend to listen to a lot of different genres besides metal - pop, classical, blues, jazz, etc., so I draw inspiration from a lot of different musicians and styles. If I like it I'll always try and apply it to my own style - regardless of whether it is Debussy, Disney pop or Django Reinhardt!
My musical career:
Like many other boys and girls I was as a kid forced to attend piano lessons. I enjoyed singing from early on as well but it was first around the age of 14-15 I first considered playing music myself. My uncle had an old acoustic guitar which I enjoyed fiddling with whenever I visited him. I asked him one day if I could borrow it and soon hereafter I played the guitar every day. I've studied with shred virtuoso Niels Vejlyt for a year or so but other than that I am autodidact. Today I always try to practice the guitar and the piano for at least one hour every day.
My gear:
Ibanez JEM77BRMR
ENGL Powerball + Mesa Boogie cabinet
BOSS GT-10 effects board
Dunlop Jazz III picks and Ernie Ball strings
Other than that I've got a black Fender Stratocaster - some model from the 80's. I play an old Yamaha acoustic steel string guitar as well and a Roland keyboard
