Ninet Tayeb (born 1983, in Israel) has been singing and exploring music from the moment she can remember herself.

Her debut album, "Barefoot", was released in 2006, selling Platinum in less than 24 hours- after charting no less than 5 singles that became instant number one hits on national radio throughout the country.

After releasing her first album and coping with its tremendous success- Tayeb opted to take a short musical hiatus in order to dive into the lush sounds of more alternative and indie international influences before returning to the studio to cut her next album, the idea being to explore and grow new boundaries of music- that was something which she always connected to but still had yet to discover.

Spending her days listening to artists such as: PJ Harvey, The White Stripes, The Kills, Jeff Buckley, Blonde Redhead, Arctic Monkeys, Flaming Lips and so many more, Ninet quickly rediscovered her musical identity and plotted what would become her new path.

During her break from music Ninet was tapped to co-star in what became her first international major motion film, "Kirot" (Walls), alongside James Bond girl, Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of Solace) while also staring in the seminal adaptation of the Broadway musical "Spring Awakening".

Her second album, "Communicativi"(Communicative) , written and produced mostly by Ninet herself was released in 2009, again receiving overwhelming reviews and has been a significant landmark in Ninet's musical career.

On May 30, 2012, Tayeb released her third album,"Sympathetic Nervous System", her first album in English, which she wrote and composed herself. The album was recorded at the Motor Museum Studio in Liverpool (where artists like Oasis, Arctic Monkeys and Tom Odell recorded their albums) and produced by British producer Mike Crossey (who is known for his work with the Arctic Monkeys on their first two albums and also worked with the Foals, Keane, The Kooks and many others).

In the same year, Ninet was the musical guest ofJesus And Mary Chain, who performed in Tel-Aviv in two sold-out gigs.

Less than a year after, Ninet released her fourth album "All Animals Knew" ("Kol Ha-Chayot Yad'uo"), an album in Hebrew produced by Joseph E-shine and Idan Rabinovici (both members of the indie-rock band Acollective)

Ninet has been nominated twice for Israel's favorite Act in MTV Europe Music Awards (in 2009 and 2012) and won both times.

In 2014, Ninet worked with Steven Wilson on his most recent solo album, "Hand.Cannot.Erase" (released on February 2015) and is featuring in two songs. Wilson described her as "inspiring, amazing and easy to work with" and said that her voice "literally blew him away".

Ninet was the opening act for the iconic singerCindy Lauper in her memorable concert in Israel (2014) and performed a vocal duet of "True Colors" with Lauper during that concert.

She is also the opening act for one of the biggest and most talked-about concerts of the year, Robbie Williams.

Ninet has been working on new materials, both in English and in Hebrew. A new single is to be released within the next month.
