Imants was a member of Skyforger from the very beginning. He recorded the demo album and "Kauja Pie Saules" CD, but later was friendly fired by rest of the band members, who wanted more professional attitude But he still is a good friend of the band and helps with recordings of warrior vocals in the studio when that's necessary. Right now he plays drums in various local rock/metal bands, like Country Death, Suņa Stunda etc.
