Mike was born in Corona California where he went to school through 3rd grade, when he moved to Oklahoma with his family. At 9 he moved to South Africa for 4 years as his father was a missionary and had his own church there. He moved to Escondido California which is in Northern San Diego and finished high school there. He started playing Bass guitar when he was 15. He actually began playing guitar first and then switched over because his first band RISK, asked him to switch. He began to expose himself to metal when Quiet Riot first broke onto the scene. He branched from there to TWISTED SISTER and later PRIEST and eventualy his all time favorite, MAIDEN. After RISK jamming for a year he concentrated on improving his playing until meeting Gerry Buczko. He joined up with him and began jamming with no real gigging until the band QUASIMODO formed. That was with CAGE guitarist Dave Garcia also. That band quickly broke up and 2 camps formed, NOMAD with Eric Horton, Gerry Buczko, and Sean Peck and CRUSHER with Dave Garcia and Mike Giordano and local San Diego madman Big Vinney. After the demise of NOMAD and CRUSHER, Mike joined with Dave Garcia and Sean Peck and Eric Horton to form CAGE. Mike is an hardcore videogame player who currently is playing God of War 2 and Fight Night round 3. His gamertag on XBOX 360 and PS3 is mikecagebass, issue him a challenge sometime! Mike loves horror movies and lists his favorites as the Evil Dead trilogy, Rob Zombies movies and Bubba Ho Tep. Mike lives in his lavish condo where he has a huge python named Ash. Mike is also a huge fan of pro wrestling and UFC. His 2 dogs, Katana and Blackie ( the rotweiler) run amouk through the house. Mike plays a BC Rich bass and Ampeg B4R amp. He is very much into Hotroding cars and is always under the hood wrenching on his 2001 Trans Am. His beautiful wife Debbie and maniacal son Vince complete Mike's perfect little world.
