Moaning Silence were born many years ago, during a cold quiet night, in the dark alleys of the mind of their main composer and guitarist Christos Dounis, while he was studying the varieties of human nature. Emotions, thoughts, pictures, gave birth to lyrics and music notes, while the great poets and writers of our times, created a dreadful atmosphere in which music, dreams, feelings become one.

In late 2014, Christos' steps crossed with vocalist Aimilia Papatheochari.
Recordings took place under the supervision of producer Bob Katsionis (Firewind, Outloud) at Sound Symmetry Studio, Athens, Greece.
One year later, the dream became reality.
Ten songs about sorrow, love, darkness, memories and lost hope are ready to fill the hollow wounds.
The whole music vision of the band was captured on canvas by acclaimed French painter Gilles Grimmoin.
