Biography
Soulburner were formed in Mexico City in 2002 by Saack, Chester, and Eduardo, who combined their interest in the death metal style with a balanced attack that bordered on technical death metal. The band members decided on Soulburner as the band name after folding Beholding Signs (1995-2000) as the style had changed drastically from the initial concept.
In July 2003, bassist Erick (Zamak) joined the band, adding a new rhythmic direction. The band began recording "When Sanity Is Lost", their debut album, at the Digital Sound Lab the winter of 2004. Afterwords Soulburner spent time touring across Mexico with a variety of bands such as Raped God, Drowned In Blood, Pulverized, Incantation and Cannibal Corpse.
The band is now working on developing new tracks that will form their second full-length album that is set to be released in 2010.
