BiographyFireBorn, a melodic death metal band out of Buffalo NY, formed in 1998. Blazing dual guitar solos, power metal harmonies and melodies, extreme vocals and intense drumming are just some of the driving forces behind the band. Founding members include drummer Matt Swistak, lead guitarist Scott Ketch, bassist/vocalist Adam Svensson, and the line-up is rounded out with lead guitarist Nick "Nickelbag" Norton (Seize The Soul). FireBorn have been compared to the likes of In Flames, Soilwork, Children Of Bodom and Dragonforce.
FireBorn have released three full-length albums, which include 2003's "Creation Chaos", 2005's "...As The World Crumbles", 2007's "A Deadly Premonition". "A Deadly Premontion" marked the debut of Nick Norton on a FireBorn recording, and this album best showcases the band's excellent guitar work. FireBorn have opened for many national acts including Deicide, Between The Buried And Me, Into Eternity, All Shall Perish, Mushroomhead, All That Remains, and God Forbid.
In August of 2008, after 10 years of hard work, good times and bad, it was decided that FireBorn had gone as far as the band could go and the decision was made to break up.
