Biography
Proxima Control is a metal band founded In the fall of 2009, when guitarists and founders John P. and Matt Z. were sold fake tickets to a Metallica concert. Angered but inspired, the duo decided to pursue their dream and start a rock band of their own. Over time, the band has evolved and grown, with John on guitar, Jack on vocals, Ben on bass, Babis on guitar, and Alan on drums.
In March 2012, Proxima Control won recording time at a battle of the bands competition with Supernova.com. After recording their debut EP, "Inertia Massacre", the quintet began an unending quest for musical perfection. Much like their career, Proxima Control's sound can be described as a precarious trip through heaven and hell, channeling ominous vibes and scorching instrumentals.
