"VOLYA i RAZUM" ("Воля и Разум) is a supergroup created by the legends of Russian rock: Andrey Bolshakov (guitar), Alexey Strike (guitar), Mikhail Seryshev (vocals). The lineup also includes: Yaroslav Vasilenko (bass), Roman Koshelev (drums).
Mikhail Seryshev was the vocalist of the group "Master" ("Мастер"). He took part in the metal operas of the group Epidemia "Elven Manuscript. A Tale for All Times" ("Эльфийская рукопись. Сказание на все времена") and "Enya's Treasure" ("Сокровища Энии"). A participant of Margarita Pushkina's project "Margenta". Since 1999, Mikhail Seryshev has been an artist of the Moscow Helikon-Opera theater. Mikhail is a participant in most of the tours of the Helikon-Opera theater - both in Russian cities and in many countries of Europe and America.
Andrey Bolshakov is the first guitarist of the group "Aria" ("Ария") (1985-1987). With Andrey's participation, the album "Who are you with?" ("С кем ты?") was recorded and released, thanks to which the whole country heard such immortal hits as: Will and Reason; Get up, overcome your fear; Games are not for us; Icarus, etc. Co-founder, guitarist and ideological inspirer of the group "Master", who stood at the origins of the group.
Alexey Strike is one of the legendary rock guitarists of our time, recognized by music critics as one of the best guitarists in Russia, the media calls him "The tamer of six-string demons". A bright musician, composer, and also a charismatic performer and producer, who has an impressive creative path behind him... He is known for his work in many bands, including "Master", "Vesyolye Rebyata" "Pilgrim", "Artur Berkut", "Kupriyanov", "Strike", and others. In total, he took part in the recording of over 60 albums.
Roman Koshelev - drums. Current member of the legendary power metal band "Charisma" ("Харизма").
Yaroslav Vasilenko - bass guitar. Played in the bands: "The Secret of Confession" ("Тайна исповеди"), "Chaos hierarchy", "Lovivora".
The conceptual program of the band is based on the lyrics of Margarita Pushkina. The musicians also perform cult hits written by the members in different years.
On November 11, 2024, the debut full-length album "Go to the Light" ("Иди на свет") was released.
