1995
Jefferson Weber, Rogério, Martin and Marco Crest create the band.
1996
In the end of 1996 Adagio recorded a demo tape called "Sustenuto".
1997
Marco Crest leave the band, and Douglas join the guitar in his place. M. Fernando (bass) joined the band. With this line-up, at the end of 1997 the band recorded a demo tape called "Feelings Of Harmony". Adagio also played with Moonspell and Rotting Christ on their tour on brazil..
1998
Douglas leave the band. Themistocles (keyboard) and Priscila Felicia (Vocals) joined the band. At the end of 1998 they recorded a demo tape called Winter.
1999
After send Winter to MegaHard Records, Adagio were hired and released their first full-lenght called Romantic Serenades. A nine track Doom/Atmosphetic/Melancholyc/Gothic album with female vocals, violins, keyboards and synths.
2000
Jefferson and Priscila leave the band. Fabiano (vocal), Alessandro (synth) and Daniel (Guitar) joined the band.
2001
Adagio released their second album called "The Birth Of Misery". It was released by Demise Records.
2002
Fabiano, Alessandro and Daniel leave the band, Jefferson come back to the Vocals. Kleber (Guitar) joined the band.
2005
Romantic Serenades was re-released by Twister Records.
2007
Some personal and professional reasons made Fernando leave the band. Rodrigo joined the band as the new bassist.
