There is no precise date to which reduce the birth of Storm Frost project. It's born as an inspiration and passion for music that is able to dig and recall emotions, for that kind of black metal that becomes the tool of communication with yourself, and that surrounds to you. The idea arose by Andrea F. (Blackhate-voice) and his desire to give life to the group, despite the difficulties in finding other components with the same reasons. In 2002, the union with Alessandro M. (Am-guitar) taken to a first attempt to complete the group with some musicians, that very soon proved unfit to share the motivations of the couple. The completion of current line up came in the same year with the entry of Andrea C. (Blackthorn-drums) and Massimiliano G. (Suffer - guitar), already components of Common Grave (black metal - Treviso), but equally motivated and trusting that Storm Frost project could coexist and differ from that already well underway of their further group. For the lack of a testing room the first meetings had taken place in the cellar of Massimiliano where, after a period of running, it came to light the song "Sons of the hate". This is the first musical creation of the band, perhaps a little immature but rich of energy and emotions, also the result of an idealistic-composing union growing within the band. The next musical production had taken place in the testing room already used by Common Grave: here were settled the successive songs that in 2005 leaded to register the first band demo (titled "Sons of the Hate") at the "Agitato Records" of Treviso. The demo, composed of five tracks, came out the first months of 2006 and is open expression of those ideas and themes that Storm Frost enclose in their music. The distribution of demo happened with the Canadian label "Made with hate records", which incidentally allowed the band to sell the disk also in various foreign countries, including Canada, Switzerland, China. Still without bassist, in the autumn 2006 the Storm Frost began to seek someone who could share band's issues and music. After various researches, in December 2006 Andrea C. and Massimiliano met the bassist Francesco R. (Spectre - bass), which, after a trial period, began to make part in the final band line up from January 2007. During 2006-2007, Storm Frost continued to write some new own pieces, giving songs ever more mature from a thematic and compositional point of view, thanks to the combined input of the 5 musicians' ideas and to the live experience that the band in the meantime had gained. During autumn 2007 the band registered at "Undersound recording studio" of Roncade his second work, an album containing 6 tracks unpublished and the 5 tracks taken from the previous demo. The new Storm Frost album, titled "detaching from humans", was out towards the end of March 2008 and is produced by the "funeral moonlight production" and distributed by the label "evil hatred distribution'.
