Adrana is a female-fronted Metal Opera band hailing from France. It was created in 2004 by Ludo (guitar) and Max (drums). Then came Grhyll (Grégoire), the keyboard player. Last, they chose Anaé (Anne), the songstress and Emeric (bass) to complete the line-up. In 2006, they released their first ever demo - The Tower of Frozen Tears. They've been playing at various festivals, and in a few pubs. They've also been devoting quite some time to recording their debut album, Perturbatio, which was released on 7 June 2008. Only one track (Mortelle Fourberie Enfantine) from the above-mentioned 5-track demo, has made it to the final work, which has left plenty of space for new adventurous melodies, among which Saneday, the beautiful piano intro of which literally transports you into this mostly fast-paced guitar-driven song and Secret Gathering, in which Anaé resorts to eerie, albeit refreshing vocal acrobatics. In 2010, they recorded their second album that is expected to be released in September 2011
