Biography
Corrosive Elements, founded in 2005, is a French death 'n' roll/thrash metal band. In May 2005, vocalist Emilie (Dead Terror, Released) and drummer Rachid (Worth, Repulsed, Lethal Mind) decided to form a metal band that would combine the raw power of extreme metal and the punch of rock 'n' roll. They were soon joined by guitarist Seddik, an old friend of Rachid's with whom he had previously played in a band called Utopia in Algeria. Another former Utopia member, Mohamed, joined the band briefly as the bassist in June of the same year before being forced to leave as his list of side projects proved to be too overwhelming. Yves (Tunguska) joined the combo as the second guitarist. After months of unsuccessful trials, Corrosive Elements finally found a worthy bass player by the name of Raphaël (Tales Of Blood).
In March 2007 the band underwent another line-up change: Lionel (bass) and Tarik (guitar) replaced Seddik and Raphaël and with the new line-up intact, Corrosive Elements self-released their "Chaos Unleashed" EP in 2008, after which they plan to release their full-length debut entitled "Toxic Waste Blues".
