Biography
The band was founded in the autumn of 1988. Since its establishment plays mainly in their region and then also in the Austria, Germany and Poland. In 1991, we managed to get on the compilation Czech Rock Block, published by Petr Janda. At the same time, we recorded the video for the song "Svatá inkvizice," which emerged in the mentioned programme. Of course, neither us is the focus of changes that we have in 1992, broke up with singer and the microphone is finally set IZZI.
The first major success was winning a contest "ZLATÝ AMBRO?" 1992 (the price hands on master Karel Gott). After this victory we got an offer to make debut album, released in the company Marco Music Box in the spring of 1993 under the name "Doga".

For this album we recorded 3 video clips to the songs "Nejsi nevinná" , "Mejdan" and "Chci tě mít". Then we started to concentrate mainly on playing concerts and the band tried to get into a broader awareness of people. In 1994, we unfortunately are not re-staffing changes and the band left the guitarist Peter Nastulczyk. His place temporarily holds Jirka Tomíček. He has performed with the band around the year that he was in 1995 replaced by LUMOS.
In the same year, we were consulted by a music publisher Petr Janda and his BEST I.A., so we went with them next album. We recorded in the studio Propast and released in 1996 under the name "No a co?".
From this album with us began to cooperate on texts Jaromír Nohavica, and then added to him Petr ?i?ka, Ale? Bricht and Lou Fanánek Hagen. Clips we recorded for the songs "Blbá láska " and "?iví mrtví" and once again we went at playing across the country.
Sometime in 1998, we began to prepare material for the next album and we're looking for a suitable publisher. After several discussions, we signed a contract with the company Popron Music. Album was recorded in Ostrava in the studio Citron and during the recording we went to the sports hall in Vitkovice, where we were as a guests on a concert of groups Uriah Heep and Slade. Album was published in 1999 under the name "Já se na to?" and we recorded the clip "220 do levé chlopně " in which stars DominikaGottová
The fourth album started going around in 2000. This time we managed to sign a contract with the multinational music labels Warner Music. Again, the recording was in the studio Citron and a mixing desk and sat again, as in all previous boards, Petr Slezák. Published in 2001 under the title "Jsem trochu divnej" and the during the filming of clip for the song with this name, we invited a conflict with the police because we are blocked for the shooting Nusle..s bridge in the Prague. On the promo for this album, we went on tour with a group Kabát. As a second clip has been filmed song "Holka Samosexuál" in which stars famous czech pornstar Paula Wild. It was shooted in the famous men's firm Moulin Rouge in Březůvky near the Zlín. Coincidentally, it was the day it was in America made a terrorist attack on the Twin Towers. In the autumn of this year, we went the tour with a group of Krucipüsk.
Around this time we began to regularly appear on all major festivals in the Czech Republic, such as the ?Noc plná hvězd" in Třinec. As the only band in the history of the festival, we participated in all years.
The year 2002 did not start the band very happy because our former bass-guitarist Pepa ?iko had to take three months in addicts rehabilitation centre in Holčovice. As a stand on several concerts already played with us Pepsi. In the same year, we even spoke to the concerts with an American group MANOWAR and again began to prepare material for the next album, in turn, has the fifth.
It was published in September 2003 for publishing East Brother entitled "Kdy? chlapi tančí". On this album, we started a little experiment. For the first time in the history of the band to the songs we used the samples and we exchanged and sound engineers. This time, the mixing desk sat P. Kuba. Load in the studio Moskva on Barrandov. Another experiment was the first animated clip, which was made for the song "Poletuju." In the autumn of that year, we, together with a group ?kwor played as guests on tour of group Kabát.
At that time IZZI played a role in the film as ?pornstar Yahvehist". It was a black comedy called ?Choking hazard" by director Marek Dobe?. A major role in this film played actor Jaroslav Du?ek. On the soundtrack for this film was used one our track (Torpédo), which was but the amended text, and in the movie appears under the name "Oslabebné kusy".
Beginning in 2004 we spent preparing for the filming of our first DVD "Live & History aneb KURVASTETADY?". The concert is shoted in the festival ?Noc plná hvězd" and went out in the company OpenMedia.There are also all the videos shot in the meantime, photo gallery and an extensive interview with all members of the band. A year later we are on the same place taken over for the sale of the DVD a ?Golden desk".
Even before that but we played two performances the Czech stops concert tour known, German, heavymetal legend U.D.O. During the summer season has IZZI accident on a motorcycle, he have broken arm, and that the band did not have deadlines disturb, was again invited to guest guitarist J. Tomíček. IZZI several concerts only singed.
The year 2005 began with the band very sad. After long problems was forced to leave the band bass-guitarist Pepa ?iko and his place took PEPSI. The last joint performance in the "old group" has been playing live music on the transfer price of the Academy of Popular Music "ANDĚL 2005" in Vítkovice sports hall. Shortly after the onset of a new bass-guitarist set out to the traveling festival PINK PANTHER FEST, which we performed together with groups ?kwor, Krucipüsk, Support Lesbiens and Kabát.
In March 2006, we were again closed for a month to studio Moskva and we recorded our sixsth album ?Love Vole" published in the music publisher Universal Music.
As the sound master, while the producer was invited Yarda Hele?ic which had good asistents George Erič and Petr Kuba. Excellent atmosphere, which in the recording in the studio dominated, finally managed to get into the mood and sound throughout the album. Album released in May 2006. During the recording of the album, we went to the ?Anděl 2006", where we played one song (?Black Cat" by Jannet Jackson) together with the Helena Zeťová. Two videos that we recorded for the album on the same day and were recorded for the songs "Laně jdou" and "Nejsem rozumnej."
In 2007 the band was on their first, separate, concert tour through the Czech republic.
Now in 2008 Doga celebrates 20 years of its existence and now it expends its selective album "FUCKT BEST OFF" where are 26 tracks from all six albums and also 2 new tracks ?Geny" and ?Cannibal".
For the song ?Geny" was filmed videoclip by director Marek Dobe?. Doga also expends their new book called ?20 let dogové závislosti", where are many tales from their twenty years history.
