Hunter was formed in 1986 in Szczytno, in the Mazurian Lakes. It all began when Paweł Grzegorczyk (guitar) met Grzegorz Sławiñski (drums). At first there was no greater ideology behind it. They just wanted to play music and have fun.
The name of the band, doesn't have any special meaning behind it either. They took it from the Def Leppard song "Die Hard the Hunter".
