Biography
In the year of 2003, I created a one-member instrumental rock project, named Haven. My band's main inspiration comes from nature and inner feelings. I created four full-length albums, and two singles. However, these materials were only known by a small community around me.
After the second album ?Thoughts", I changed the name of the project to Art of Haven.
My first breakthrough was in 2009, with the album titled ?Awakening". The project got several new fans that year. In the summer of 2009, bass-guitarist Ágoston Gabrieli, and drummer Tamás Berki joined my band to do live performances. The live playlist contained songs from the greatest guitarists of the world, like Joe Satriani and John Petrucci. Durig this period, I made the decision to keep up this line-up,and play together with the live musicians on the following records.
Several concerts followed this period. In the spring of 2010, Art of Hvaen's next single came out. This record titled ?Sun & Earth" brought the first press attendance in a nationwide musician magazine. In the summer of 2010, Judit Répásy joined us as a vocalist. At the end of that year, the line-up became complete with rhytm guitarist Viktor Varga, and the songwriting possibilities flared.
In the summer of 2011, our second EP, "Where Memories Fade" came out with four tracks, finally all of them with vocals.
After a short collaboration Csaba Bögöly decided to left the band. Until the new bassplayer's arrival, we have spent most of our free time to focusing on the new songs- We have recorded a new Ep, titled ?A csend szava" in english ?Words of silence". On this album there are three tracks, and one of them is a special instrumental song named ?Obscurity"..You can watch a videoclip for this song too. There's also an extra acoustic version from the title song ?A csend szava" .
It's slowly ten years ago that the first Haven song saw the daylight, and so we decided to re-record and modernize Art of Haven's top ten instrumental songs. This special edition collection album is titled "Ten Years in Haven,". The first five songs have already appeared on the Internet this year, and we plan to publish the whole disc itself in 2013. At the end of the year 2012 we have found our new bassplayer ?Robert Marlok", so we could begin to compile our 2013 concert program.
