The group was founded in 1989 by Rosen Grudev and Nedelcho Harizanov under the name Necromancer. After a frequent change of musicians in the early years, in 1993 they began recording their first demo album "Creation of Darkness". The recordings end in the summer of next year. The style is death metal with typical strong vocals, speed guitars and melodic piano parts. The second demo "Memories" made the band quite popular in the country, and copies sent abroad led to the broadcast of NECROMANCER songs on Italian and English national radio. The song "The Lowest Heights" ranked NECROMANCER for group of the year (1996) in Gergana Lazarova's show "Sunday 96". NECROMANCER have been a regular participant in the death metal festivals in Burgas since the second half of the '90s. Logically, it comes to signing a contract with a company outside the country.
The company is "Mystic prod" from Poland. She released her debut CD - "Seven Ways To Die", which was released in 1999. In September 1999, "Mystic Fest" was held (Poland, Krakow), where NECROMANCER played together with groups such as Limbonic Art, God Dethroned, Amorphis, Emperor. For a certain period of time the group ceased its activities. In January 2010 NECROMANCER reunited and on 29.05.2010 warmed up Deiside at their concert in Sofia. At the end of the year they participate in the "Burgas Metal Carnage Festival". Next year they are at the "HOPE Music Festival" - Kazanlak. A series of club appearances with other groups from the country and abroad followed. In the summer of 2014 they participated in the "Sea Of Black Festival" in Burgas.
