It was in the year of 1998 that Lord Morbivod gained his name due to the blackest generosity of his own soul. The idea of starting a black metal project came to him in the time when journeys into the depths of Plzen's sewer system, back then the fulfilment of life for Lord Morbivod and Rabe Naj, were in full bloom. The name of the project, Stiny Plamenu (meaning "Shadows of Flames"), was born from the feelings and emotions experienced while watching the sewer expanses illuminated by a flickering fire, the fascinating places beneath the town of Plzen became the inspiration for the lyrical content of the project. Mythological characters of the world of sewer lore soon appeared: Pan Cistirensky ("The Sewage Disposal Lord"), Pani z Vodarny ("Lady of the Waterworks"), Syn Poklopu ("Son of the Manhole Lids"), Mistr Jimac ("The Cesspool Master") and some others. Stories about these figures are told in the guise of black metal pieces with a truly bestial sound. The term "wastewater black metal" can be understood as a musical genre with a fair amount of elaborate mythology and raw black metal. First two demo CDs and three following albums were recorded by Lord Morbivod himself, only with a small cooperation of visiting vocalists, who impart to some sewerage characters their voices. Several solo concerts took place in sewarages under Pilsner during years. In 2005 guitarist Lord Egon and drummer Lord Sheafraidh from Dìèín enlarged Stíny Plamenù. Lord Morbivod took up the bassguitar and concerts on the ground take place with this full lineup. In 2008 the concert line-up was fortified with guitarist Lord Oblomov.
