Kaoteon is an extreme metal band with origins in the devastated Middle East, with a sound blending a brutally dark atmosphere with riffs that range from anthemic post-rock to oriental/Middle Eastern folklore and incendiary lyrics driven by the band's background in turbulent Beirut, Lebanon.

Following live performances to open for Melechesh and Legion of the Damned, Kaoteon's second album, Damnatio Memoriae, recorded in collaboration with Fredrik Widigs (from Marduk) on drums and Linus Klausenitzer (from Obscura) on bass, got amazing reviews across the world and landed the band the Global Metal Award at Metal Hammer's Golden Gods awards in 2018.

The band is already recording their follow up album with Adrian Erlandsson on drums from At The Gates/The Haunted. Kaoteon is due to release their third full length in 2019. Expect nothing but a 100% Mental, 100% Metal Album \m/
