Biography
Blackspell is the first black metal band from Syria. The band started in late 2008 by Demon of Darkness as a one man project. The sound of the band has changed from raw black metal to ambient black metal and now the band plays melodic black/death metal with influences from other styles/genres.
Disbanded in 2012 after the releasing of the EP Cultural Reference.
