The band SURTUS LOHE was founded in 1996 by Ragnfalt, Tristan and Mandos. Since then they have gone through several line-up changes. 2 full-length albums, as well as a few demos have been released in the band"s history, with "Vor Wallvaters Thron" as the most recent recording with the original members, released on Christhunt Productions. The current musical style is best described as pagan Metal, similar to older BATHORY. In 2005 Reki, Tyrs Sohn, Nidhöggr, Boreas, and Werner left the band to form Helritt, leaving Ragnfalt as the only remaining member for several months. Their latest release after the leaving of members is 'Nornenwerk' released in 2011.
