Eternal Elysium - Biography
Biography
Eternal Elysium is heavy rock band. We're deeply influenced by '70s heavy rock bands like Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Grand Funk Railroad, Flower Travellin' Band and also doom rock scene got us much vibrations. We love also early '80s doomstars, Trouble, Saint Vitus, Pentagram and stoner rock community is so important for us.
These great music made the base-framework of Eternal Elysium's sound. We keep on putting out the heavy sound, but not just do that - psychedelic, blues, funk, noise - every kinds of music and art scenes have always great influences on Eternal Elysium.
In Japan, Eternal Elysium is actually one of frontier of doom/stoner scene. There are some bands related with doom/stoner like Flower Travellin' Band, Blues Creation, Genocide Nippon, but the scene was nothing.
We started playing at Japanese heavy metal scene, and created doom/stoner scene in Japan with Church Of Misery. Long time later, lots of Japanese bands are confirmed on international and domestic doom/stoner scene. And, in our home town Nagoya, many doom bands joined with the scene that we hoped to realize.
Our activity area is not only in Japan. We used to tour in USA, Europe, Australia and hoping to be much more countries.
We're still putting out the heavy rock spilits from here to the world.
