Fuzz Manta started out a five piece stoner and heavy blues band in 2006. Their first full-length, Smokerings (2009), comprised 10 tracks of heavy hippie hard rock, while the band gained a lot of live experience through many tours to Germany, booked and promoted by the hardworking Berlin based booking agency Magnificent Music.

A change in the line-up came, by the end of 2009, and the new quartet (bass-guitar-drums-vocals) soon found their own style within trio based 70's rock. Revitalized and hungry, the band laid down the basic tracks for the next album in the rehearsal room, during the course of summer and fall 2010, while continued touring took them to Sweden, Germany and Spain.
