Biography
Skeletal Spectre was born in 2008 when Vanessa's Nocera's husband, Billy, proposed the idea of the band to Roger "Rogga" Johansson; though her husband is not actually in the band. Rogga recruited original vocalist "Sacrifice the Virgin" and drummer "2008", and Rogga himself took on the pseudonym of "Behold the Pentagram".
The band released it's debut album, Tomb Coven, in 2009 via Razorback Records; the label of current vocalist Vanessa Nocera. The album's concept art, some of the lyrics, and production were actually handled by current vocalist Vanessa Nocera. Sometime in 2010 Sacrifice the Virgin left the band, and Rogga asked Vanessa to join in her place because he was very impressed with her vocals from Scaremaker and Wooden Stake.
The band then released it's sophomore release, Occult Spawned Premonitions, in 2011, once again through Vanessa's own Razorback Records. The band also released a split album with Druid Lord that year.
The band's newest album, Voodoo Dawn, was released in 2013 via Pulverised Records.
