Biography
Chainsaw was formed in 1996, and off to a Spinal Tap like existence. Including mental illness, disappearance, electrocution, a car crash, collapsed lung, disastrous surgery, a smashed hand, and even a stroke.
But even though they have been hammered down time and time again they have proven to be indestructible, as they are still going strong. For over a decade and a half with great determination Chainsaw have been pushing their vile music down peoples throats, not only those privileged few who are already into Metal but also those who've never heard Metal before or are not probable to ever experience an explosive Heavy Metal show. This 'missionary work' has brought their violent and bloody show to multi-cultural festivals, musical high-tea, tropical islands and children's parties alike
"The entire world has a right to know Chainsaw and we feel that if we acquaint people with the whole metal genre we greatly enhance their quality of life".
Now after 16 years of butchering pigs on stage, drinking some of the most disgusting back stage beers and having the best time possible rocking venues home and abroad it is time to celebrate their 16th anniversary with their 3rd full album. '16 years down the meat aisle'!
