Biography
Deus X Machina is a Power Metal band born in late October 2012. The lineup at that point was Sebastian Ferraro (vocals), Matias Laino (guitars), Victorio Cassanova (bass) and Berta Rodriguez (drums). It wasn't long after the band came together that they decided to bring in Damian "Donny" Travieso (keys) in January 2013, this way consolidating the lineup as well as their style.
Only 3 months after the lineup was complete, Deus X Machina made their grand debut supporting the Finnish Folk Metal band Turisas on March 12th 2013, playing before 500 people.
On the 16th of the same month, a great gig would take place at Teatro de Flores, where they played before a crowd of 1000 when supporting Sonata Arctica, the Finnish Power Metal band from which they draw strong influence.
After a great year and even greater shows (including an amazing concert in Santa Rosa, La Pampa, another one at Roxy Live supporting Xandria and the Wagner Fest II, among others), on December 2013 Deus X Machina stepped into the studio to begin recordings of "X" at Studio Thirteen with producer Diego Rugiero.
