Snow Burial is a hard-hitting and dynamic post-metal trio from Chicago. They dedicate themselves to crafting aggressive, emotive and technical music.

Shortly after forming in late 2012 at a Shiner reunion show at Chicago's Bottom Lounge, Snow Burial self-released their inaugural E.P., Oxblood Siren. Snow Burial then quickly jumped into the local Chicago music scene, sharing bills with bands like War Brides, The Swan King and An Aesthetic Anaesthetic. In February 2014, Snow Burial recorded and self released their second E.P., Oxblood Tides. In between continued local gigging, Snow Burial completed two Midwest tours in 2014. In addition to gaining more popularity and awareness in the Chicago and Midwest scenes, Snow Burial has been receiving positive reviews and airplay on local and regional radio.

Snow Burial recorded their inaugural L.P. VICTORY IN RUIN at Howl Street Studio in Milwaukee with engineer/owner Shane Hochstetler and it is available now. Snow Burial will continue their involvement in the Chicago scene and expand their sound and audience to other regions through continued touring and festival involvement.
