Earth And Pillars - Earth I lyrics
|
Tracks
02. Rivers
From this river to roots
Of this forest, of the Earth he soaks
In deserted dikes flows
Where leaves lay silent in their sleep
Feed me with your voice
The silence of the glaciers
Through branches of sacred arms
Your frozen wispers
As the rivers crushes on these banks
Elevates his roaring voice to a chant...
Scent of fir spread through the air
As the rite becomes alive
From Earth to leaves
To a sky beneath
From flesh to spirit
Cracks the wooden dome
Trees, as my flesh, have no rest here
Consumed to ash in the womb of the earth
My skin as your cortex
Is the past, wrinkles and scars
Quenched in the cold sight of the stars
The river renews this wooden cathedral
Reborn in the altar.. lit are the fires
Prayers roars in cascades
Arise, gods and stars
Behold
03. Lakes
Winds hiss
Caress the shores..
Water ripples
The face shivers
Like a portrait drawn by the rain
Of time and memories
Of voices and screams
Dither the trice and fragments fall
The contours remain, thin and empty
Outlines of my shape
This matt surface..the well of the valley
Where mountains reign
Surrounded by the fathers, the lake speaks..
"Behold the stone-throne..listen to their voices..
They know the eternity you seek.."
May the peaks, so hold and wise, break their silence!
Speak through me!
"Give the spirit to the crimson clouds!
Who abandon this lake at the sunset
And dye the mountain ranges of gules"
The wind far blows
Where everything sleeps
To the sea..
04. Tides
Ancient, I am silent as your voice
Yells from your mouth of waves
As once, become stone
At the solemn monition of your breath
Teach, from the abyss, the ferment
Of our hearth is nothing
(As your relentless law sway beyond our time
Vast and ever changing, the foundation of the pillars
Feel the cycle of seasons and the drip
Of the hourglass sand, You know nothing of this)
Vastness redeems our flesh, the calm
Pervades and destiny awaits on the edge
Of the Halcyon days
Yet, reject us
Inhuman hearth pulsating
Means and not end, we are
Your silent erupts form your womb
Our hum a distant echoes of your voice
We depart, we burn and as dust
Come back and fall, into you...
