01. We Thrive On Chaos
Since I was brought to the court
Their despise threw me to the ground
I covered before their hateful sights
Molded in a forge that has no fire
My face is pushed on this cold floor
I feel the blood flow from my mouth
But soon there's poison in my veins
I will finally be freed.
As you can see, time did nothing to dampen my rage
I still grow crooked from that ill, old seed
Lies we sow, oh sadness we reap
On chaos we thrive and chaos we breathe
My delusions are so profound
The fears root me to the ground
I'm floating on these dreadful tides
Despair unwinds before my eyes
Bonds are made and bonds break down
The wounds stay open to haunt me for
I can't find forgiveness in my heart
I can't keep maliciousness gone
As you can see, time did nothing to dampen my rage
I still grow crooked from that ill, old seed
Lies we sow, oh sadness we reap
On chaos we thrive and chaos we breathe
As you can see, time did nothing to dampen my rage
I still grow crooked from that ill, old seed
Lies we sow, oh sadness we reap
On chaos we thrive and chaos we breathe
So forlorn I've become!
02. And We Dream Of Our Demise
I walk past the statues with forgotten names, with forgotten lore, with forgotten ways, for days.
Whispers those ancient send on my way, I close my mind, wisdom has no value today, if never again!
I work as the eyes for the hand that points the kill. Like a raven, raving, upon a feast I am thrilled
I thought I was a perfectly made mold, with a moral high as mountains and a heart made out of blazing gold
Behold the sudden downfall of a man, swiftly like a storm wind the spiral shows the end of its path.
I work as the hand for the sword that deals the kill. Like a? a wolf, howling, upon a hunt I am thrilled.
I sit with bare feet, holding all I've loved in my life
On my throne of dreams, merely above the ground
Oh, what i wouldn't do to achieve all that wealth?
For it all I love I'd... I'd pulverize, crush and kill
I'd pulverize, crush and kill
Now our gears start to rust
And we dream of our demise
When we're gasping for air,
Our lungs only reach dust
And I fear death; I've seen it much more than trust in my life
I wish just once before the end
My feet would again touch the ground
Someone here must have seen the light, so I can have my shadows, so I can live my shade of life.
And I have burned all the bridges to my past, now they lie in ashes and I burn the whole world if I can.
Now I am the eyes, the hand and the sword. This dreary day is fit to end this lore.
I sit with my crown, more priced than man's life
On my throne of gold high above the ground
And I fear death; I've dealt it much more
Than trust in my life
I wish just once before the end
My feet would touch the ground again
Now our gears start to rust
And we dream of our demise
When we're gasping for air,
Our lungs only reach dust
And I fear death; I've seen it much more than trust in my life
I wish just once before the end
My feet would again touch the ground
03. The Second Vengeance Orchestra
A glance at a war and the nation goes mad, the foundations disperse when the leaders can't see and all you hear is screams from darkness when the monsters rape the silence.
They forge all you love into a shape unseen, vanish back to the night like they never were here, a revenge for pain past years have seen and this elegy goes on and on.
A boy hides in fear of the unceasing nightmares.
He hopes that someday they'll end, for hope can turn this world.
A coin flies through the air to tell you to live or die; you're sentenced by a man whose orders come from god. Time slows down as the final verdict falls, draw your last breath as the man you thought you are. Thought you are!
They've cut my flesh, they've broken my spirit, the scars they left are high as the sky.
The delicate weavings of my soul, my bond to this world, are stomped to the mold.
Torn the skin and shattered the bones then rebuild to serve as a tool of war.
Grievous wounds leave my precious, pristine lifeblood spilled on the ground.
So I begged his gods, I prayed for their grace, for what is honor worth when it's time to die?
"Now go and tell all the world, tell them your tale, make them fear and ask?"
Man straightens his back, grown in cruelty.
The tears exchanged to hate, to hate that will control this world.
A coin flies through the air to tell you to live or die; you're sentenced by a man whose orders come from god. Now go and tell all the world, tell them your tale. Go, make them fear and ask:
"What will you do when your world will turn no more?"
