In 1988 band members were aressted in Cincinnati, Ohio. On the Head Trauma Tour in support of their album - VIVIsectVI - Skinny Puppy simulated an "operation" on a toy stuffed animal named "Chud" as part of the show. An audience member mistook "Chud" for a real dog and called the police. As a result, bandmembers Ogre, Cevin Key, and the tour manager Dan McGee were arrested for disorderly conduct. They were released after their night in jail and fined $200.00.
