The band name is inspired by the fantasy novel series "A Song of Ice and Fire" by American writer George R.R. Martin.

Original vocalist Bryan Edwards uploaded all Seven Kingdoms songs with his involvement (i.e. up to 2008) to Youtube, which includes the two demos. His channel can be found here.
