Paradise Lost are named after the epic poem "Paradise Lost" by the English poet John Milton.

During the tour for the album "Icon" in Belgium, a band called Crowbar which was in the same concert, placed a sour can with sardines in Nick Holmes air fan. The result was Nick to throw up on the stage.
