The Donauinselfest (Danube Island Festival) is Europe's biggest open air festival, with 3 million visitors in 2005. The whole festival is free of charge and features, other than loads of international pop and rock stars, also some mentionable metal bands like Pungent Stench, Mastic Scum and Eisregen.
