Google says mt Ruapehu is the lonely mountain, that mountain is like right next to Mt doom.

The surrounding area of the Mountain you showed doesn't look as inhospitable as Mordor though, I don't think I'll be struck down by a Nazgûl on my travels there

wheras the Lonely Mountain was where the Dwarfs traveled to with Bilbo, North of mirkwood where Smaug guarded the treasure

They can often be confused but I believe Mt doom was that big volcano in Mordor where they destroyed the ring,

Mt doom? Na thats mt ngauruhoe, can't remember if its on the hobbit but it's mt doom on L.o.t.r
