I hadn't seen Vanden Plas in almost 10 years! That was during their tour following the Far Off Grace album, which I didn't like as much as The God Thing. Anyway it was great to see them again, although in a pretty small venue in which I couldn't find any authorized access to the toilets... Also their setlist kinda disappointed me but it was quite logical since I still haven't heard a lot from their last 2 previous albums. My fav moment thus was the encore since they played Rainmaker from The God Thing. A good gig nevertheless, lots of people were entirely satisfied with it.

Also, the opening act Spheric Universe Experience did a very good performance, with a great sound and great songs (provided you like progressive metal with lots of time signature changes, and so on). They matured a lot in their stage presence and overall presentation since the last time I saw them and they can probably do better in this aspect but the music was perfect (and I ended up buying their last album - and a new one is soon to come!)

For some reason I could never stand their music...
