The finale date of the tour was simply fantastic! And it had to be that way, especially since I paid two tickets (yes, I had lost the first one...). Theli being one of my all time favorite albums, I just had to be there.

The Vision Bleak wasn't bad but they played for roughly half an hour so I quickly forgot about them. The singer has quite a great voice, you know the kind of voice that rules the place.

Therion had a keyboard player (I don't know if it's the first time, but I know they usually doesn't have any), a belly dancer, and a few guests: Messiah Marcolin, Mats Léven and (I believe) Piotr Wawrzeniuk, ex-drummer and ex-singer who performed on Theli. Compared to the rest of the tour (I believe), they added a finale cover, the song Black Funeral (Mercyful Fate) and perhaps one more song, I'm not sure.

Great sound, great setlist, great stage set and play... Great night

Did you manage to take any pictures?

No.

Yeah, ylside was the first to ask me for pics, but I won't take any until I get a mobile phone with a built-in camera. Then I may take a few low quality pics... I hate people taking pics with their phones actually, it's even worse when they try to film the show. That's annoying for those who are behind and that's utterly stupid since by doing so, they fail to 'live' the show.

Anyway, this show will stay somewhere in my mind, as all the good shows do

I once to a show, and there were two people standing next to me, and they were taking turns in recording the show, they each had a camera, they did not upload it on youtube, i looked...

Well, with I don't like Concert reviews with no photos... Besides I'm taking a break from reviewing gigs/albums, I don't find my writings very entertaining.

Because normally, cameras aren't allowed! At least not without the proper accreditation. And I only have an "old" cheap digital camera, I don't find it justified to ask for the privilege to take photos with such a poor equipment. At that time I wasn't even working anyway, the memory card died when I was at Raismesfest (now I've got a new card, but it's only 16MB).
