Black Label Society - Reveal New Guitarist

At the end of the year, long-time Black Label Society guitarist Nick Catanese left the band. The group begins 2014 by welcoming new rhythm guitar player Dario Lorina. The band "thanks to all of you that submitted videos and demos. There are some really great guitar players out there!" You can expect a new Black Label Society album this year as well.

Black Label Society - Part Ways With Guitarist Nick Catanese

Black Label Society has amicably parted ways with longtime guitarist Nick Catanese and "wish him the very best in his future musical endeavors." A replacement will be officially announced soon. Zakk Wylde and company have been holed up in Zakk's personal studio the past few months working on their new full-length album, which is set for a spring 2014 release through eOne.

Black Label Society - New DVD On The Way

Unblackened, the new live DVD, Blu-ray, and digital video from heavy metallers Black Label Society has been set for release on September 24th, 2013 via Eagle Rock Entertainment. Additionally, Zakk's label home eOne Music will release the audio version of the Unblackened DVD under the same name. The double disc release will have six additional tracks not found on the DVD including two acoustic versions of "Queen Of Sorrow" and "Won't Find It Here", and covers of Leon Russel's "Song For You" and "Aint No Sunshine" by Bill Withers.

Black Label Society - Announced For Gigantour 2013, Tour Dates Revealed

The package festival Gigantour founded in 2005 by Megadeth's Dave Mustaine returns in 2013 with a new line-up for the tour. In addition to headliner Megadeth, the multi-artist bill features metal heavyweights Black Label Society, Device, Hellyeah, Newsted and Death Division, all picked by Dave Mustaine. Black Label Society - To Release New Acoustic Album

The Song Remains Not The Same, the new acoustic album from Black Label Society, will be released on May 3rd through Entertainment One Music.

The album will feature acoustic versions of tracks from the band's latest record, Order of the Black, along with other songs recorded during the Order sessions. One of the acoustic tracks, "Darkest Days," will feature an appearance by country star John Rich.
