Thrash metal masters Evile proudly announce the release of their next full length instalment, The Unknown. Due out July 14 via Napalm Records, it's comprised of ten new tracks and features cover artwork by Eliran Kantor. The Unknown was mixed and mastered by Chris Clancy. For a preview, you can also check out a video clip for the album's first single/title track. Additionally, Evile have announced a first batch of shows up and down their country at the end of the year to promote their upcoming music output.

After revealing that there would be a new album later this year or early next year, UK thrashers Evile recently announced a headlining UK tour with support coming from Divine Chaos and Tortured Demon. It will take place next month, starting in Glasgow (February 15th). This trek will see Evile touring in support of their most recent album Hell Unleashed, which came out last April and was their long player in eight years.

Evile vocalist and guitarist Ol Drake issued a "small announcement" on Facebook, revealing that the band has already started writing new material for the follow-up to this year's Hell Unleashed, which was their first studio album in eight years, and concluded that he hopes it will be out by 2023.

It's been only a month and a half since Evile released their latest album Hell Unleashed, which marked their first in 8 years and the first one with guitarist and founding member Ol Drake filling in for his brother Matt on vocals, following the latter's departure from the band last August. However Evile don't seem to be slowing down at all, as they already have made plans to start working on their sixth studio album later this year.

Today, the four-piece put out an official video clip for the new single "Gore", featuring American actor, comedian and musician Brian Posehn. The clip was directed by James Mansell and animated by Hakim Ismail.

British thrash metallers Evile recently announced that they have parted ways with their lead vocalist and guitarist Matt Drake, who had been a member of the band since the formation back in 2004. His brother Ol will take over on vocal and guitar duties, while Adam Smith of RipTide has been added to the band as their new rhythm guitarist. This new lineup, also featuring Joel Graham on bass and founding member Ben Carter on drums, plans to record the band's long-awaited follow-up to 2013's Skull, which is expected to be released later this year or early next year.

After a nearly five year absence from the band, it looks like Ol Drake will be returning to his old position as lead guitarist. Drake will be replacing the recently departed Piers Donno-Fuller, formerly of Fallen Fate, who joined the band back in 2013 in support of the album Skull. Evile is currently working on their fifth studio album whose release date is currently unknown.

After 15 years and four albums, Evile's guitarist Oliver Michael "Ol" Drake is leaving the thrash metal band. He explained that his departure is due to the fact that he has reached a point where the touring/band lifestyle isn't fulfilling anymore and he can't handle the financial uncertainty that it involves at this point in his life.
