US fans who were eager to catch Helmet on their Fall US Tour with Local H are gonna be disappointed to know that the tour has been cancelled. The band cites financial concerns and low ticket sales, and plans for a scheduling of a 2025 tour instead are underway. Meanwhile the November European tour seems to not have been affected and will go ahead as planned.

First up is a tour of the U.S. with American alternative rockers Local H to continue support of the most recent album, Left. Second up, Helmet will play European shows to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Betty album. The setlist will feature the Betty album together with favorites from the band's catalog.

The trek will kick off on April 14 in Detroit, Michigan and run through May 18 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Helmet Lady Records just announced the signing of crushing, India-based sludge band, Shepherd. Their small family has grown quickly in 2015 and Shepherd serves as an important cornerstone in the development of the label as a nirvana of beautifully heavy music on vinyl. First off, Demonstration 2 is set to be released this summer as #1 in the new HLR Ruination series as a newly mastered limited, hot mixed, custom colored vinyl limited to only 111 copies featuring artwork by the band and four raw, powerful tracks that set the doom meter aflame.
