Job For A Cowboy - Enter The Studio To Record New EP

Glendale, AZ extreme metal band Job For A Cowboy have entered Florida's Audio Hammer Studios with producer Jason Suecof to record an EP of all new material. The as-yet-untitled EP will feature the first new music from the band since 2009's Ruination LP which landed at #42 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. A spring release via Metal Blade Records is expected.

Job For A Cowboy vocalist Jonny Davy commented: "It felt like a long time since we last got together to write new material. After collaborating in the snow of Boston, we're now recording our second EP. It feels good to be in Florida with Jason, Ron and Eyal of Audio Hammer studios. Job For A Cowboy 2.0 is on the way."

"Ruination", the new video from US metallers Job For A Cowboy, can be viewed at this location. The clip was directed by Kevin McVey. Also the engaging clip presents a visual interpretation of Job For A Cowboy vocalist Jonny Davy's end-time lyrics via vintage atomic bomb testing and Cold War propaganda films.

"Ruination" comes off the band's latest album, Ruination, which was released on July 2009 via Metal Blade Records.

Job For A Cowboy - New Song And Video Online

US metallers Job For A Cowboy have posted online a new song, "Regurgitated Disinformation", on their MySpace page.

Another new song, entitled "Unfurling A Darkened Gospel", was already posted online at the same location one month ago.

The two songs come off the band's forthcoming album, entitled "Ruination" cover art], which is scheduled for release on July 7 via Metal Blade Records.

"Ruination" was tracked and mixed at AudioHammer studios in Sanford, Florida with producer Jason Suecof (The Black Dahlia Murder, Devildriver, Trivium).

"Unfurling A Darkened Gospel", the brand new music video from award-winning Glendale, AZ heavy music powerhouse Job For A Cowboy has been posted online and makes its world premiere today on MySpace. Check out the action now here.

"Unfurling A Darkened Gospel" is the roll out track from JFAC's celebrated sophomore album, "Ruination", which is available everywhere now. The video was shot on location in downtown Philadelphia, PA and at the city's distinguished music venue, The First Unitarian Church. The clip was shot by Doug Spangenberg for Space Monkey Studios (Lamb Of God, Maroon 5) and features Job For A Cowboy doing what the band does best; bringing its electrifying live show directly to a crowd of rabid fans.
