Guns guitarist Ace Von Johnson confirmed in a recent interview with VW Music that they are currently working on a new album for a 2023 release. It will be the follow-up to last year's Checkered Demon, which marked the band's third album to feature original guitarist Tracii Guns since he returned to the fold back in 2016.

California rockers L.A. Guns just hired a new gun. It's new guitarist Johnny Monaco (Enuff Z'Nuff) who has joined the group's ranks. He joins L.A. Guns as the replacement for Michael Grant, who left band earlier in the month. Michael Grant announced that he left on March 5th "to pursue other interests including his solo project, Michael Grant & The Assassins."
