Finnish Wintersun just dropped their highly anticipated record, The Forest Seasons. No full song or video had been released so far, but on the day of release, the lyric video for the 14-minute epic "Awaken From The Dark Slumber (Spring)" was launched on Jari Mäenpää's personal YouTube channel. The Forest Seasons consists of four lengthy tracks that reflect - as the name implies - the four seasons. Spring being the first. Check out the song below.

System Of A Down - Announce Wake Up The Souls Tour
While System Of A Down haven't released a new album since 2005's Hypnotize and Mezmerize, they continue to tour and perform live. Next year, the group will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide with their Wake Up The Souls Tour, commencing on April 10th and concluding with their first-ever performance in Armenia with a free show in Yerevan's Republic Square. UK death/doom band My Silent Wake have just signed a record/management deal with House of Ashes in Italy. My Silent Wake are working on their next album to be released next year. Recent additions to the band are the drummer Gareth Arlett (also of Amputated) and a reunion with Kate Hamilton who has switched from bass to keys.
