In response to fevered anticipation over the new Alcest album Écailles De Lune, German label Prophecy Productions has released a .m3u stream of the new song "Écailles De Lune (Part I)". The link for the stream can be found here.

Alcest - Lunar Abysses Over North America Tour

France's Alcest have announced a string of North American live dates. The band will be touring in support of the upcoming record Écailles De Lune, which will be released on March 29th. Alcest will be supported over the tour with various acts including: Velnias, Liturgy, Clad In Darkness, Woe, Monarque, and Have A Nice Life.

Alcest - New Album Tracklist, Album Art Revealed

Alcest have published the cover art (courtesy of Fursy Teyssier) for their upcoming album, entitled Écailles De Lune. The layout will be made by French graphic designer Metastazis. A release date is scheduled for March 29, 2010.

The Vision Bleak + Alcest - Set Sail To Mystery Tour Dates

Our specialists for gothic horror, The Vision Bleak, will embark on a ten-date tour of Europe alongside Alcest in April 2010. While The Vision Bleak are credited as being an excellent live band, this is the first tour for Alcest in the group's history. Both acts will present material from their respective new albums scheduled for release in spring 2010.

Alcest - To Record New Album

From July 27th, Alcest will be in Markus Stock's Klangschmiede Studio E in Germany for three weeks to record the follow-up to their debut album, "Souvenirs D'Un Autre Monde". Mix and mastering will be done in September at French Drudenhaus Studio. The new, as-yet-untitled record will consist of six tracks - including new versions of both songs from the deleted EP "Le Secret" - and clock in at around 55 minutes.
